Description
HEELS - All about shoes. Whether you put on your dancing shoes or your high heels, come and learn about how shoes influenced what we wear, how we dance, and how we are seen from the outside. All while enjoying food, wine, and community.
The program has two parts - starting with a talk about the symbolism and feminism of shoes, why women wear heels, and how wearing heels changes and reflects the body. Then, join us for riveting dance performances from a group of trained dancers representing many different styles with different shoes.
