Description
The Arts and Crafts movement which originated in Victorian England is experiencing a revival. Join Wornall/Majors House Museums at the Victorian era Alexander Majors House to experience some of the movement’s original crafts. Each ticket comes with four crafts and access to the house museum to view our collection’s Arts and Crafts movement era works. In-depth classes are available at the end of the session. Classes may be purchased in addition to or independently of a craft pass.
Session one - All ages drop-in crafts (10 am to 12:30 pm)
$15 per person
Includes four crafts: Whirligig, silhouette, rag doll, paper fan
Session two – All ages craft classes (12:30 pm to 1:00 pm)
$15 per person
Select one class: Flower pressing, candle dipping, introduction to weaving
Session three – 16 and up crafts drop-in crafts (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm)
$20 per person
Includes four crafts: silhouettes, scene creation with pressed flowers, tiny basket weaving, paper quilling
Session four – 16 and up craft classes (4:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
$45 per person
Select one class: introduction to embroidery, introduction to historic clothing design, introduction to floral arranging.
