Description
An alcohol-free, 17th century tavern-like experience for kids and their grown ups. Experience the music, dances, games, and spooky stories of New England's past with your in-costume, in-character guides. Feel free to dress up for the time-travel!
Local harvest treats will be available for purchase from the Creative Collective market on the first floor, and brought upstairs. You may also bring in your own food and drink.
Kids Pub is primarily geared toward elementary school aged children and their families or other attentive caregivers. It's not a drop off, and all who enter must have tickets. Adults may not attend without children. Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets that are free for Salem residents are for current residents only. (Sorry, the address of your hotel or Air-BnB doesn't count!) Be prepared to show your proof of residency at the box office. Salem Resident tickets will not be given to guests who live outside of Salem. Salem-only free ticket holders will only be admitted at the start time (4PM). If you holding free admission and you are late to check in, you may be denied admission as your spot may be sold to another party. This is at the sole discretion of the box office.
This event is a fundraiser for Salem High School Music Boosters, which supports performing arts education in the Salem Public Schools. If you feel you can give extra for this worthy cause , you are gratefully encouraged to do so!

History Alive, Inc. is an immersive historically-themed theater company from Salem, Massachusetts. We are committed to the production of new plays and theatrical scenarios based on true stories from the past. Emphasis is given to interactive theatre so that actors and audience together, through a playful and dynamic way of engaging with history, might broaden their understanding of the present and gain a fresh sense of purpose within their own era.
