3377 Blake StreetIf you're new to pottery, handbuilding is a very approachable way to get to know clay as an artistic medium.
This project is to make either a mug or up to 3 small plates.
This is a one-time event. You'll build your project and decorate it, we will glaze it for you and have it ready for pickup by December 20 - just in time for Christmas!
Includes 3 hours of hands-on instruction, use of community tools, clay, underglazes, and firing for the finished project.
Handbuilding, which includes slab building, pinching, and coiling, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
