Are you in the mood for snowstorms, old flames, and a touch of holiday magic? Join us as What If Theatre takes on the timeless tradition of holiday romance movies as seen on Netflix or the Hallmark Channel - improvising a brand new one right in front of your eyes!

You’ll get everything you've come to know and love in a holiday rom-com  - a chill in the air! An impossibly cute hometown (with perhaps a fun local competition?) A seasonal business on the brink of closing! Unsolicited advice from a kindly stranger! A fake European country that ends with “-ovia”! One person who loves Christmas and one person who absolutely hates it! Random carolers and possibly a singalong! And, of course, a sprinkling of holiday magic....

We'll take all of these and more to create a heartwarming holiday tale live onstage every night!

What If Theatre is dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre - which is a fancy way of saying, we do improvised plays. Not everything we do is funny. We aim for authenticity, but the truth comes first.  The funny thing is, that usually means that humor is close on its heels. 

We feature a variety of improv from the Denver area in addition to performing our own acts - and we welcome storytelling, magic, sketch, and other acts on our stage. We also feature local artists on our walls. Come check out our space! You will find it homey and warm, with the comfiest seats in Denver performing arts!
