Pacific Spirit Children's Choir is West Vancouver's premiere choral programme for kids and teens, providing a community of singing that nurtures joy and friendship while learning musical skills to last a lifetime.
Established in 2009 by conductor emeritus, Gerry Van Wyck, Pscc is presently ran by Kiyomi Hori, prominent choral conductor, vocal coach, and classical voice performer, and assistant directed by fellow music educator and performer, Eric Biskupski. With three choir ensembles with young singers ranging in age from 5 to 19 years old, PSCC is a programme that allows kids to grow up within the choir as they age, develop new musical skills, and challenging them with a varied arra'y of repertoire spanning multitudes of genres.
The 2023 - 2024 season has the Pacific Spirit Children's Choir celebrating 15 years of children's and youth choir excellence. Many alumni have gone on to continue their musical studies in post-secondary education and keeping the joy of choral singing an important part of their lives.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining us, registration for the spring is open to all singers aged 5-19, regardless of experience. Visit pspchildrenschoir.ca/register to learn more or to sign up today! We'd love to sing with you!
