Celebrate the birth of America with your whole family at the Printing Museum!  

Guests will enjoy a special presentation in the Heritage Theatre featuring Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Betsy Ross. You'll hear how each played a critical role in the the founding of our country. Ben Franklin will speak about his tremendous contributions and entertain you with his Glass Armonica, the musical instrument he invented. Jefferson will highlight how the Declaration of Independence came about, while Betsy Ross will bring to life the Stars and Stripes that defined our new nation. When you purchase your tickets, choose a showtime at 11am or 1pm. Seats are limited in the theater.

Our annual Independence Day Celebration also includes special tours of the galleries, plus the opportunity to print your own Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Star Spangled Banner on antique printing presses. 

TOURS AND DEMONSTRATIONS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE DAY, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO RESERVE A SPOT FOR EITHER THE 11 AM OR 1 PM SHOW. Plan to spend several hours at the Museum that day, including the show!

General Admission is $15. Students & Seniors are $12. Children under 3 are free. Members are free (with special code).

Printing Museum

The International Printing Museum, in Carson, California, has one of the largest collections of antique printing presses in the United States. We offer educational programs for school groups at the Museum, and also have a Colonial-style printing press on a trailer that can travel to schools and public events for living history programs.
