The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others. We want everyone to experience the benefits of cooking and eating together. By paying for a cookery class, you help other people to attend cookery activities, regardless of finance, confidence or ability, and to make lasting changes to their lives.

Inspired by his food tours in Goa, Chef Kanthi shares his favourite authentic dishes.
Chef Kanthi brings the authentic tastes of Goa to the Community Kitchen, sharing his professional cooking techniques and flavour combinations so you can prepare a delicious Goan meal in Brighton.
A typical menu will include varied dishes such as: Chicken cafreal masala (or vegan alternative), Goan Mushroom masala, Goan Cabbage salad, and Coconut Pulao Rice.
Dietary information: This class is adaptable for vegetarian and vegan diets but this must be specified when booking. The menu is also gluten-free however we cannot guarantee the kitchen is a fully gluten-free environment. The class involves cooking with nuts.
