Fauna Rescue Flying-fox & Microbat Team are holding a Bat Information Day for those who are either interested in joining our team or if you would just like to find out more about these wonderful animals.
The presentations will cover:

How can you help:
Flying-foxes : Caring for orphaned young. What does it entail?
Rescuing injured/sick animals. What does it entail?
Attending Flying-fox fly-out counts
Attending Heat Stress Events (HSE)
Microbats : Rescuing, What does it entail?
Caring, What does it entail?
If you are interested in joining the team there will be an opportunity, after the presentations, to attend a session where you can meet members of the team and ask any questions you may have regarding the roles and requirements of being a Fauna Rescue Bat Team member, both as a vaccinated (Rabies) and non-vaccinated member.
