Share Description
In this two week intensive, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of dying yarn yourself. We will cover direct dye application, kettle dying, immersion dying, and resist dying. Your class fee includes eight hours of instruction over two days, four skeins of sport weight wool yarn, sufficient dye and other supplies to to color all your yarn, and safety equipment.
Note that we will always work with your safety in mind, but due to to the possible exposure to chemical agents, near-boiling water and other hazards, this class is only available to participants over 18 years of age.
Please note that registration fees are non-refundable. Transfer may be available to another session of the same class up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. While we make every effort to accommodate emergency changes in your schedule, we cannot guarantee availability in other class sessions or make-up instruction beyond the scheduled office hours announced in class.
