Introduction to Natural Dyes

This six-hour class introduces the use of natural plant materials to dye wool yarn and/or fabric.  We will use extracts of weld and madder - two plants that grow in Western North Carolina. The class will be held at Folkmoot on Saturday, July 8 from 9:00-3:00. The class will be limited to six participants and most supplies will be provided. The cost for the class is $75.00 and will be taught by Kathy DeOrnellas.
