9:15am – Breakfast in the Social Hall
10:00am - Speaker in person & Zoom
Join us as Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish presents his view on the possibility of Arab-Jewish coexistence.
- What’s at stake? Why is this issue so important and yet at the same time so neglected by Diaspora Jewish Communities as well as by Jewish leadership in Israel?
- What is the difference between the existential need for Arab-Jewish coexistence within the state of Israel and the mini-war going on between Israel and Hamas and against Palestinians in the West Bank (sometimes known as Judea and Samaria, or “the Occupied Territories”)
- What have been some of the cutting-edge programs with which I was intimately involved that have made an impact in this field?
- What needs to be done in the future?
- What are some of the critical challenges that confront us?
Please note that due to the current security crisis in Israel, Rabbi Dr. Kronish will be speaking to us remotely from his home.
We will view his talk over Zoom following our usual delicious breakfast.
