Jam Jersey Bluegrass Picking Weekend
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of non-stop bluegrass jamming! Jam Jersey 2025 is a three-day, music-filled event where players of all levels come together to jam!
Whether you’re a seasoned picker or just getting started, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow musicians and immerse yourself in the joy of bluegrass.
For those staying at the hotel, there are designated "picking" and "quiet" floors. During the day, there will be guided jams led by experienced facilitators in the hotel's conference rooms. Jams will be designated by type (slow, medium, fast) or style (songs (more singing, less picking), fiddle tunes (more picking, less singing). We'll have a band scramble and an open mic too! Plus lots more still in the planning stages.
How It Works:
1. Buy Your Ticket
- Tickets are required to attend the event.
2. Get the Hotel Room Booking Link
- After purchasing your ticket, you’ll receive a link to book your room at the DoubleTree Hotel. Be sure to designate "picking" or "quiet" in the note field. Hotel room group rates are $139/night (plus tax).
3. Book Your Room
- Stay at the heart of the action all weekend long!
Day passes are also available if you're local and just want to jam for the day.
The hotel is conveniently located in Mahwah, NJ right off Route 17, and is accessible by public transportation.
