The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others. We want everyone to experience the benefits of cooking and eating together. By paying for a cookery class, you help other people to attend cookery activities, regardless of finance, confidence or ability, and to make lasting changes to their lives.
Description
You will learn how to cook okonomiyaki, traditional Japanese savoury pancakes, and discover the techniques behind creating delicious little gyozo, the half-moon-shaped fried savoury dumplings that are hugely popular in Japan.
You will also cook a tasty butternut, tofu or chicken katsu, which you’ll cover in crunchy panko crumbs and enjoy with its trademark curry sauce.
At the end of this hands-on class you’ll surely be ready to flex your culinary muscles, impressing family and friends with some home-made, authentic Japanese delights.
