Description

Join us for the second edition of movies that feature Japanese food paired with a special culinary experience.

This screening will be the landmark documentary following Jiro Ono's quest to perfect the art of sushi making: for this evening, we will feature a Sushi bar with extremely fresh local catches from chef Edmund.

This will be an outdoor screening with a Nigiri & Sashimi Pop-up in the beer garden adjacent to the outdoor bar.

Our doors will open at 7pm for sushi, and the film will begin at 8. This screening will have a casual atmosphere and eating during the film is welcomed.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •   Our outdor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
