Join us for the fall performance of Kirkwood Community College's Jazz Express, Jazz Transit, and Concert Choir! This concert is in two parts.

Part one: The Concert Choir will perform a show titled, "Washington Women." This show features speeches by important female voices, from Supreme Court Justices, to Congresswomen, Secretaries of State, and Presidential Wives, including Abigail Adams, Madeleine Albright, Barbara Bush, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. This is a multi-movement piece.

Part two: The Jazz Express and Jazz Transit groups will perform a show that also features women's voices -- music by women composers, arrangers, and performers. The jazz ensembles will sing a number of pieces.

$10 for adults; $5 for those age 55+ and under age 18; and free to Kirkwood students, faculty, and staff with a Kirkwood ID.
