Description

Jewish Life on Campus

Helping Your Teen Navigate College With Confidence

Wednesday, April 9, 2025
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Resnick Chapel, Resnick Campus

As your high schooler prepares for college, you may find yourself thinking more intentionally about which campus environment will best support their Jewish identity, values, and well-being.

Join us for an essential conversation with Rabbi Ben Berger, Senior VP for Jewish Education, Community, and Culture at Hillel International, alongside Rabbis Nickerson and Fein, as they share insights from their extensive experience working with Jewish students on campuses across the country. Rabbi Nickerson previously worked at Penn and Stanford Hillels, and Rabbi Fein served at Syracuse and Columbia/Barnard Hillels, where she was a campus rabbi through Oct 7th and the events of that academic year at Columbia.

  • Jewish life on campus: What to expect and how to help your student find their place.
  • Choosing the right school: Choosing a school that aligns with your student’s Jewish identity.
  • The impact of today’s climate: The evolving relationship between Jewish students and Israel on campus.
  • Jewish joy on campus: Ways students are thriving and building strong, supportive communities.

Parents of high school sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend. This event is not for students.
