Description

Kaatsbaan Ballet Intensive (KBI) is a unique training program designed for young dancers between the ages 13 and 18 to develop exceptional technical skills, artistic refinement and a sophisticated approach to repertoire, with the ultimate goal of preparing attendees for a career in the arts. 

 

This In-person audition will take place at Kaatsbaan in Tivoli, NY. The audition will be led by Kaatsbaan's Artistic Director, Paloma Herrera. Kevin McKenzie and Martine van Hamel will also be at the audition. The audition will be an hour and a half long. 

 

Auditions will take place on January 15th. There will only be one session starting at 3:00pm. 

 

Please arrive with enough time to check-in. Parents may wait in the lobby of the studio building. 

 

Girls should wear a solid color leotard, pink tights, and should have both flat and pointe shoes. Boys should wear black tights and a white shirt.

 

KBI 2024 will take place July 1, 2023-August 24, 2024.  Boarding and Day Student availability.
