Friday, 4/21/2023:
Night 1 of Kettle Moraine Bluesfest (Friday, 4/21/2023) features The Dave Steffen Band followed by The Cash Box Kings.
The Cash Box Kings are bona fide blues royalty. Co-led by real-deal Chicago blues vocalist and songwriter Oscar Wilson and Madison, Wisconsin-based songwriter, harmonica giant and singer Joe Nosek, the band plays masterfully raw and unvarnished house-rocking blues. Wilson’s huge, gritty vocals and Nosek’s powerhouse harmonica fuel their razor-sharp original songs. With their top-shelf musicianship and trademark good humor, The Cash Box Kings are a one-of-a-kind blues band. In the words of MOJO magazine, the band is “flawless.”
Anyone who has heard The Dave Steffen Band play live understands that their music is more than just notes. With ten albums and literally thousands of live appearances under his belt, Dave Steffen has made music a way of life. Since Dave received his first recording contract at the tender age of fifteen, he has devoted his life to playing, recording and living his music. The trio, simply called The Dave Steffen Band, packs a live punch which gets the crowd on its feet every time.
Saturday, 4/22/2023:

The Jimmys is an award-winning festival favorite bringing people together from coast to coast, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean for over twelve years. The Jimmys feature band leader Jimmy Voegeli, phenomenal Hammond B-3 keyboardist, singer and songwriter; an experienced killer rhythm section steeped in blues with Perry Weber on guitar, Chris Sandoval on drums and John Wartenwieler on bass and the icing on the cake is the best horn section in the Midwest—Pete Ross on saxophone, Mike Boman on trumpet and Joe Goltz on trombone. It doesn’t get any better than this – The Jimmys will deliver!
By presenting an eclectic blend of blues, rock, and folk jams, Maple Road Blues Band is a band that does not fall short of keeping an audience entertained and intrigued.
