The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others. We want everyone to experience the benefits of cooking and eating together. By paying for a cookery class, you help other people to attend cookery activities, regardless of finance, confidence or ability, and to make lasting changes to their lives.
Description
These gingerbread stained glass biscuits are some of the loveliest sweet treats you could wish for at Christmas time. Your child will make them in a festive session led by Kitchen favourite, mum and experienced tutor Jess Haywood.
In this two and a half hour session, they will prepare the biscuit dough, before getting creative with the vibrant colours of the stained glass filling (as the smell of gingerbread wafts through the Kitchen).
While your biscuits bake, have a go at making delicious Christmas tree biscuits decorated with piped royal icing.
Previous participants of our other festive baking classes said: "I learned so much. I'm so impressed with what I made." and "Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, great event."
