A Pet and Paint on Canvas Day at the Farm

Agape Farm of Watha is pleased to host a Pet and Paint session on the farm, just for kids! They'll enjoy a unique combination of one on one time with Scotty our lovable Scottish Highland bull, story time, snack and paint their very own Christmas canvas picture of him. It's guaranteed to be both an educational and fun-filled experience. Artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt with Emerge Studio Art in Burgaw will head up the paint on canvas portion.

This event is most suitable for ages 5 to 12. Parents are welcome to stay during this event or drop off and pick up at the end. We request only one parent per child/chidren as seating is limited in the party room.

Event Overview

Our Pet and Paint Event at the Farm includes a guided canvas paint session, by Burgaw's very own artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt of Emerge Studio. The model will be our very lovable Scotty, a Scottish Highland bull in his Santa hat. The children will be able to get up close and personal with Scotty while they learn cool facts about him, as well as some of the other cows on our farm. We will also have a short story time while the kids enjoy a snack.

Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of a unique event that blends creativity, fun and learning. Make sure to bring a friend along for a memorable Pet & Paint Experience at the Farm. Spaces are limited. This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.

Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm. and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or giving belly rubs to our resident Chipmunk Julian Mini Potbelly pig, Miss Bubbles! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring and fall and our Christmas event in December.
