Share Description
The Kiwanis Covington County Fair is a nonprofit, self-supporting organization and receives no subsidy from the city, county, state, or federal governments. The Fair is a family-oriented community event complete with agricultural, industrial, cultural, and commercial exhibits. The James Gang provides the ride attractions and food trucks.
Profits above operation expenses and capital expenditure are poured back into the community children's programs including the Miracle League, Full Tummy Project, Covington County 4-H, Children's Policy Council, Child Advocacy Center, Foster Parent Association and many local school programs. Board members receive no compensation.
