With ancestral roots in the Lheidli T’enneh, Cree and Secwépemc Nations, KYM GOUCHIE is fostering change through her music and art. Kym’s traditional hand drum, acoustic guitar, full-bodied voice and authentic storytelling are a powerful force. She performs solo, duo, trio and full band, collaborating with talented artists on vocal harmonies, cello, keys, mandolin, banjo and electric guitar. Indigenous-folk and country tones alongside her poignant lyrics will capture your heart — her eloquent performances have a lasting impact on audiences of all ages, messages of inspiration and hope.
Kym is also a renowned Visual Artist, Cultural Ambassador, Presenter and Advocate and is regularly called upon by organizations to offer Indigenous insight and acts as a healing bridge, connecting hearts and minds across Turtle Island.
A respected elder-in-training of the Lheidli T’enneh Nation, also known as Prince George, BC, Kym has been speaking, emceeing and performing at theatres, festivals, schools, conferences, traditional welcoming ceremonies, and cultural gatherings for over 20 years.
She’s releasing a children’s album in ancestral languages in 2024.

Naomi Kavka is a visceral entertainer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist, residing in Smithers, British Columbia. Her many talents have her performing on cello with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, on electric guitar in the surf rock band Pitted, and as a solo artist, fronting her own band with a new album currently in production. She is a well loved collaborator, accompanying various artists such as Kym Gouchie, Marcel Gagnon, Wax Mannequin, and others. Recent releases of her songwriting include Slammed Doors & Severance (2017) and Back West (2019), and recent collaborations include cello arrangements on Wax Mannequin's "Red Brain", featured vocals on the Black Dog String Quartet's "A Thousand Times Brighter" and cello and vocals on Kym Gouchie's upcoming children's album.

range of genres — pop, AC, folk, country, rock and orchestral instrumental. She
has appeared on Nashville's “Starseek” and performed and stage hosted at the
Merritt Mountain Music Fest. Brigitte has recorded/released her own music and played with the classic rock/original band “Wheelhouse” for more than 20 years. She is a regular adjudicator for the Junos and FACTOR.

A wide range of musical styles can be seen on the Dream stage. Though they differ in genre, they are united in their skills. Expect to see Jazz, blues, indie, R&B, folk, punk, spoken word, reggae, rock, country, comedy, and more.
Chef Matt, who joined the Dream in 2023, offers an ethnic influence on his delectable, fresh and nutritious menu.
