The music the Orchestra will perform includes Mykola Lysenko's epic Overture to opera Taras Bulba, Myroslav Skoryk's staple Melody, Plyve kacha (The duckling swims) - a Ukrainian folk song that became very popular since the protests at Kyiv's Maidan Square in 2013-2014, music by Ukrainian classical composer of Mozart's time Maksym Berezovsky, as well as full orchestra versions of popular Ukrainian songs Chervona Ruta (Red rue), Ya Pidu v Daleki Hory (I will go to the far mountains), Kyive Miy (My Kyiv) among other orchestral music. Myroslava Khomik, an American-Ukrainian violinist, will play solos with the orchestra. A special treat will be a performance of a duo of Los Angeles Philharmonic's principals, flutist Denis Bouriakov and bassoonist Whitney Crockett, who will perform an "Aria" from Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos's Bachianas Brasileiras No. 6.

The fundraising concert is part of the arts initiative event that will also present a two-day exhibit and a silent auction of artworks by LA-based professional artists Julia Gasio, Lado Goudjabidze, Marlene Greenberg, Victor Makohonenko, Juri Koll, Nik Le Skela, Yuriy Viktiuk organized by Victor Makohonenko.
