In case of rain: If the weather brings rain on the day of the event, we will move the band and seating under our timber pavilion with great views of the lavender fields. and the Patuxent River.
Vegetarian/Gluten-Free Options: We are happy to accommodate a vegetarian or gluten-free option. Please contact us at least one week before the event to special order your charcuterie box.
Picnic Placement: All picnic spots will be set up in advance. Spots will be first-come, first-serve. If you would like to reserve a spot for a special occasion (engagement, birthday, etc), let us know; we will be happy to help!
Accessibility: Please note our lavender fields have gentle rolling hills that require walking on uneven terrain. If you are accompanying someone who needs special accommodation, please let us know in advance so we can help and arrange for a staff member to assist.
Bees & Bugs: We have bee hives on our property. They mainly mind their own beeswax, but as seating will be in the fields, we ask you to be aware/cautious and come prepared with any medication if you are allergic. We encourage guests to apply mosquito spray after parking (before going to your picnic setup) for a more enjoyable, bug-free evening.
Local Accommodations: Make it a weekend getaway! We highly recommend the Inn at Leonardtown. It's 15 minutes away and in the adorable, walkable town of Leonardtown.
