MADAGASCAR:
Grades 4th-8th: Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto the stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.
PERFORMANCE DATES:
Friday, April 26th at 7pm and Saturday, April 27th at 2pm AND 7pm
*Cast party in between Saturday's performances!
Cost: $350
Students will also receive a show shirt! Please be sure to include your student’s size during the registration process.
When: Classes meet Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm, beginning January 30th. There will be no class on March 26th.
There is also a mandatory rehearsal on Saturday, April 20th from 9am-12pm and mandatory tech rehearsals on Wednesday, April 24th and Thursday, April 25th from 4:30pm-7:00pm.

*It is imperative that all students attend all classes if at all possible. Staff and students will be putting together a 60 minute musical and it is very important to have all students in class as everyone counts on each other. Putting together a show is truly a team effort! Students that miss more than two classes may possibly be removed from musical numbers they were not in class to learn. Re-teaching numbers that were not learned in class can take time away from learning the show for other students.
