2000 Northwest Market StreetJust in time for Halloween! Learn to create your own magic wand with a working LED circuit. You'll learn how to create an LED circuit with a hidden switch that lights your wand when squeezed. You'll also get crafting making your wand personalized with ribbon, paper, foam, gems and more. Magic wand bodies are created from paint brushes that are no longer able to be restored.
Maxx FG is the Director of Push/Pull and loves any opportunity to bring hands-on tech and science into art. Plus she thinks seeing LEDs light up is one of the most satisfying feels in creative work. Maxx has been teaching crafty folks how to incorporate LED circuits in to their creations since 2018.
All materials are provided, including coin cell batteries, LEDs, copper tape and conductive wire, plus crafty fun decor. This class is recommended for ages 10 and up.
When: This class will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 5-8 pm.
