Description
Professor Romeo DiLoreto of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley will hold a Master Class Three Day Workshop as part of the Alpha Arts Institute artist-in-residence program. The course will include visualizing and composing unique landscape photographs from personal perspectives, creating digital negatives for printing using traditional and alternative photographic processes, perspectives from Italian traditions, contemporary topics, and displaying work for group critique, among other topics. The course is limited to 8 students on a first come, first serve basis.

Romeo Di Loreto received his BFA at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada in photography, and an MFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Romeo Di Loreto was a faculty member of Fondazione Studio Marangoni and (NYU - New York University) and served as Visual Media Department Area Head, founder, and Co-Director of the MFA in Photography Program at SACI (Studio Art College international) both Located in Florence, Italy. Prior to teaching, Di Loreto worked for Kodak Canada, where he was responsible for the technical division of the Kodachrome Processing Laboratories, film and paper innovative technology research department.
Funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council.
