Share The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others. We want everyone to experience the benefits of cooking and eating together. By paying for a cookery class, you help other people to attend cookery activities, regardless of finance, confidence or ability, and to make lasting changes to their lives.
Description
Join private chef Eliose, to learn chef's tips and tricks while enjoying an evening of delicious food.
At this unique evening you will learn how to cook three delicious dishes- ideal for holiday dinner parties, Christmas celebrations or just a special night entertaining at home. Eloise will take you through how to get the most out of these delicious cuts of meat bringing out their unique flavours with the perfect accompaniments and technique.
You will cook in pairs to create a delicious menu of:
- Venison tartare with egg yolk and sourdough croute
- Pan fried duck breast with black berry and thyme sauce accompanied by baked potato mash
- Alongside demonstrations of roast guinea fowl and seasonal greens
About Eliose
Eloise started her career training in some of the UK’s tops restaurants. This training took her around the world, continuing to work in restaurants but also luxury chalets, villas, yachts and private residencies. She currently splits her time between ‘Chef Academy’ where she delivers skills workshops to apprentice chefs, as well as serving up delicious and sustainable private dinners, showcasing beautiful produce from local suppliers.
Dietary information: The menu for this class can be adapted to gluten free or dairy free, but please note we cannot guarantee the kitchen is a fully gluten-free environment. For any allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.
Tickets for this event include:
- professional cookery tuition
- all ingredients and equipment
- hot drinks throughout the session, and you are welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy with the meal.
- a full meal at our sociable dining table (we usually eat about 30mins before the class ends so you may wish to have a snack before you attend.)
