Laura Ziegler, Director of Highway & Government Affairs
Laura is the Director of Highway and Government Affairs at Associated General Contractors of Minnesota.  Laura serves as the primary staff for the Highway/Heavy Equipment Division and directs AGC's legislative policy and regulatory agenda. She advises and represents AGC members at the Minnesota Legislature and with state agencies, as well as the federal government and Congress


 

 

 

Mike Schechter, General Counsel & Labor Relations Director

Mike serves as General Counsel and Director of Labor Relations for AGC-MN, supporting prime and sub construction contractors' goals of bringing skill, integrity, and responsibility to the construction industry through collaborative relations with labor, government, communities, and owners-developers. He facilitates negotiations with unions and construction employers, manages a suite of form construction contracts, teaches, and advises on issues from legislation to compliance. Mike has been named a "Power 30" construction lawyer by Minnesota Lawyer (https://tinyurl.com/ywkzsjdk).

The Twin Cities Chapter of the CFMA is a vibrant chapter with more than 200 members and serves the construction community throughout the state of Minnesota.
