2000 Northwest Market StreetA zine intensive for students who love playing with ALL. THE. MEDIUMS!
Using mixed media including collage, stamps, text, pens, and watercolor, create an 8-page zine to be printed on Risograph! Create two color design layers and use any and all tools in Push/Pull's classroom to create your 8-page zine measuring 4.25x5.5". Your zine can be about anything--an RPG? How-to guide? A story growing up? Something weirder? The zine is your oyster!
This two-session class runs from 4-7 pm on both Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.
Class includes 10 copies of your zine, and you may order more at a discounted rate. Due to our specific Risograph machines, we may not be able to print your zine while you're in class. If that's the case, we will print your zines after class and you'll be able to pick them up when they're complete!
This class is recommended for ages 10 and up. All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your ideas and materials if you have them.
RJ (she/him) has been learning various printmaking techniques for the past several years, and began printing on Risograph at Push/Pull in 2023. Now, she collages various printmaking techniques (block printing, botanical printing, and monotype) to create Riso designs.
