Advance tickets for this Moontricks concert are now sold out. Admission at the door begins at 7pm and there are limited spots available. Come early, pay, and stay. Moontricks goes on at 9pm. The Footwerk crew are excited to welcome you to this incredible evening of music, food, and dancing. 

A PK sound system is set up by our friends at Hi, Society.

Join us for New Year's eve this year with MOONTRICKS. Make is a date night with a dinner + concert. Or buy regular tickets and come and boogie and sing along. We're thrilled to feature their amazing talents at Kelowna's newest concert hall: Revelry. 

 

Enjoy the early concert hours. By 9pm, our feature guests take to the stage. ​You can be at home​ or off to enjoy other adventures in the city​ - before midnight.

Based in the rustic Kootenay mountains of Western Canada, Nathan Gurley and Sean Rodman of nationally renowned electro-folk duo Moontricks draw inspiration from the ongoing cycles of the natural world. Both volatile and constant—like nature’s best offerings—the band finds solace and beauty in the fusion of seemingly disparate elements. There’s a kind of technicolor campfire quality to their uniquely hybrid sound: Each track is steeped in tradition and polished with a futuristic sheen, mixing organic folk, roots rock, and old-time blues with modern electronic production. Since its initial release, the band’s breakout hit “Home” has reached over 10 million streaming plays, and their original tracks have been licensed for a wide range of television networks, including Netflix and Fox Sports. With the release of their debut full-length album Currents, the duo reveals an ever-evolving, cohesive blend of introspective writing, soulful, gritty blues, boot-stomping basslines, and intricate electronic arrangements.

 

Gurley and Rodman first connected at a music festival in rural BC, then collaborated on a series of rhythmic, instrumental soundscapes that eventually developed into their signature electro-folk sound. After dropping their debut single “Home” in 2013, they joined international tours and festivals in Australia, Costa Rica, and across the USA, gaining a loyal following for their dynamic live shows, which feature a rotating assortment of guitar, keys, banjo, and vocals accented with original electronic elements. Now with their debut album Currents released via Westwood Recordings, Moontricks honor the steadfast cycles of nature that carry the world forward, despite the chaos around and inside us. “The solace found in reaching past our personal confines into the vastness beyond them is something we return to again and again—in nature and in our music,” says lead singer and songwriter Rodman. Gurley, who focuses on production, views the album as a series of paths leading into unknown territory. Vast, intimate, and dazzling, Currents is an album about settling into feeling comfortably lost, and being okay with not knowing it all. It’s about finding joy and inspiration in the act of seeking.

NEW (Dec20): We are thrilled to let everyone know that Revelry is staying open until 1am! We welcome new friends looking for last minute late night plans! Moontricks concert guests are welcome to stick around after the band is done. For those joining after 11pm, expect to pay reasonable admission at the door; cash and card payments are accepted. No advance tickets needed, just come down! The bar is open and late night snacks are available. 

DeeJay Invizible and DeeBass will keep the celebrations high as we ring in the new year and create new lasting memories for the start of 2025. Hi, Society’s PK Sound System is in place all night so get ready to dance and rumble on Kelowna’s largest dance floor.

Expect upbeat festival vibes with mid-tempo, Hip Hop, House, and Bass as well as any era tunes you love and sing along to. Dress up, dress down, or dress weird as there is no dress code.

Enjoy Revelry’s signature upscale, dive bar dinner buffet. Snacks are included. One flute of bubbles per person with dinner tickets. This will be served just before our New York new year’s eve TOAST at 9pm. Seating is first come first served on the balcony level and there is plenty of room for everyone. The balcony is open to all at 9:30pm.

 

Reasonable dietary requests can be accommodate so please speak to a staff member before meal time. Or better, send us a message about your needs when you purchase your tickets. 

 

The balcony level will be exclusive to dinner+concert tier guests until 9:30pm, which is when all guests can access the space.

Watch for the food offerings closer to show time. Meals, snacks, and light bites are available. Beverages include all of the usual offerings as well as regional offerings: craft beers, wine, spirits, coffee, and tea.

Be advised that a Government issued ID is required to enter. For your safety, your ID will be scanned to detect fake/expired IDs as well as remove flagged troublemakers. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
