Description
Join us for a delightful mosaic bird suncatcher ornament workshop! In this creative class, you'll learn the art of mosaic design as you craft a beautiful bird-themed suncatcher. Guided by an experienced instructor, you'll use an array of vibrant glass tiles, beads, and other materials to create a stunning and unique ornament. This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, offering a relaxing and enjoyable way to express your artistic flair while making a charming piece to brighten your space. You will be taught the basics of glass cutting using nippers and learn about the mosaic process. This is a two-part class. You have the option to return the following weekend to grout your piece or have the instructor grout it for you. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination and a love for creativity!
This is a beginner level class.
- Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or 15 if participating with a parent or legal guardian.
- Proper attire is required for all class participants. You will need to wear closed toe shoes, socks and long pants (below the knee pants or capris are acceptable).
- Protective eyewear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own safety goggles if you prefer.
- Glass workshops require students to sign a waiver acknowledging and assuming the risks of working with glass. Each glass class will begin with a review of the safety rules and proper glass handling techniques.
- Our studio is located on the 2nd floor with stair only access.
- There is on and off-street parking with reserved spaces behind our building.
Refund policy: We require a 48-hour (2-day) cancellation notice in order to issue a refund. If you do not cancel at least 48-hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
