1 day course is for those who wish to obtain the enhanced endorsement to the Mississippi Firearms Permit. (Students do NOT need to have been issued a permit to take this course.
We (Center Mass: MFT, LLC) are offering the Mississippi Concealed Carry Enhanced Endorsement course in Gulfport*, 8:00am-5:00pm.
*The classroom portion is at our office in Gulfport. The location will be provided after your spots are confirmed.
The range we will be shooting at is Coast Rifle and Pistol Club in Biloxi, on Highway 67.
Pre-registration (and a deposit) is required to reserve your seat. Your registration is complete after you pay your deposit. The class is limited to 10 students. First come, first served.
***The course is designed for new shooters, and experienced shooters, alike.***
The MS Enhanced Carry Course costs $150 and includes your range fee, targets, and the use of our hearing protection and eye protection. Students will need to complete both a classroom and shooting portion to pass the class.
Students are required to bring the following equipment: (If you do not have the following equipment, it can be provided for you. visit https://www.centermassmft.com/requirements for more information)
- Your Firearm
- Approximately 50-100 rounds of ammunition for your firearm.
- This is an estimation. Students must have/shoot a minimum of 50 rounds, but it may take more to meet the qualification standards. Visit https://www.centermassmft.com/requirements for more information on the shooting qualification course.

- Approximately 50-100 rounds of ammunition for your firearm.
- Enough Magazines to hold at least 24 rounds of ammunition at a single time. (If shooting a semi auto firearm)
- Explanation/Example:
- If your gun uses 6 round magazines, you must have at least 4 magazines.
- If your gun uses 8 round magazines, you must have at least 3 magazines.

- Your lunch and any food/drinks you wish to have during the class or range portion.

Attorney Jason Savarese and Instructor Ian Stewart will cover the laws of self-defense and justifiable homicide, as well as the locations where the enhanced permit will allow you to carry a concealed firearm. Participants will learn the proper grip for pistols and revolvers, defensive stances and tactics, accurate trigger control, sight alignment, and many other shooting fundamentals, as well as how to control a situation using verbal commands, to potentially avoid the use of a firearm. This class is suitable for beginners and advanced shooters alike.
If you want to print out the firearms application from the Mississippi Dept. Of Public Safety website and bring it with you to class, we can notarize it for you at no charge. You can go ahead and fill out everything, just don’t sign it until you are in front of us, so we can witness.
