Description

In this workshop you'll learn how to use a bandsaw confidently & safely. No experience necessary.

We will cover the safe setup and operation of our bandsaws in the shop, as well as smaller portable models you may use at home. Learn basic measuring and pattern tracing, and practice cutting straight lines, circles and curves in this hands-on class. Our instructor will also demo the use of sleds (time-permitting participants will get some practice as well) and share tips and tricks to ensure you get the best, most accurate cuts and reduce the chance of kickback or injury. Participants will come away from the class with the skills needed to cut all sorts of shapes on the bandsaw, just in time for the gift-making season!
