Description

Someone once said that, after silence, music comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible. Singer/songwriter Billy Falcon’s music has a way of doing just that. As an artist uses color, Falcon uses words and music to convey life’s beauty and fragility, the joy and the heartache, the disappointment, and always, the hope.

Over his career, Billy’s albums have each remained true to his hallmark of beautifully crafted songs with lyrics that move the listener to laugh, cry, think, remember, and always, to hope. A poet, artist, and craftsman in the purest sense, Falcon somehow puts words and melody to all that it means to be human. Strength, vulnerability, passion, and humor are woven throughout each of his ten albums. The 1990 Top 20 billboard hit “Power Windows” from the Jon Bon Jovi produced album which also contains "Heaven’s Highest Hill", articulates the pain of having to tell his three-year-old daughter that her mother had died, echoing the true-life event of the loss of his wife Myla to breast cancer. His latest release is the 2023 iTunes and viral YouTube anthem, “Never Surrender” from the album of the same name.

Billy is currently working on his next full album working title “Holy Ghost Writer” to be released early summer 2024.

Ask Billy where his songs come from and he’ll point up and tell you with reverence, ”God whispers these songs to me when I’m soaking in His presence, in His word when I’m praying, when I’m sleeping any place I’m still enough to hear. I believe He’s always speaking, problem is we’re not always listening.”

Three evenings a week Billy streams his Never Surrender little church from his Nashville Tennessee home. With an emphasis on Worship in word, song, and God’s willingness and ability to heal all. Little church is a very informal 2 hour show. Billy describes it as, “It’s real church. I know the 50 to 100 people in the chat …I pray for them and they pray for each other. Real church, no religion just people loving God, one another, and trying to walk it out.”

To date Falcon has co-written some 70 songs with Jon Bon Jovi for BonJovi records including the newly released hit single “Legendary” from the soon to be released Bon Jovi Forever album. Along with 2 others “I Wrote You a Song” and the song Jon is touting as “the wedding song for the next 100 years”, “Kiss the Bride”, a song written for his daughter’s upcoming nuptials.

While being inducted into the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his band, Jon Bon Jovi took the opportunity to praise Billy for his creative input on the album This House is Not for Sale

Little Church can be viewed on You tube, Rumble, X, and Facebook Tuesday ,Thursday, and Sunday evenings. Usually around 6:30. See links below.
