Join Stephen Wise Free Synagogue at Macaulay Honors College for a screening of the Israeli film "My Dearest Enemy," followed by a Q&A with writer and director Tzipora Trope.

Admission is free for students. Tickets cost $7 in advance and $10 at the door.

This event is presented by Stephen Wise Free Synagogue’s Israel Committee and supported by the Schwartz fund.

 

ABOUT THE FILM

My Dearest Enemy tells the story of a friendship between two women, Alice, an Israeli Arab professor and Maya, a Jewish artist, who met at age 14 in Jerusalem. The film spans over 25 years as they struggle to keep their friendship in the midst of their communities' ever growing toxic conflict.
