Description
Join Krishna Guadalupe for a one-of-a-kind Native American ceremonial drum making experience. Krishna will guide you as you transform raw materials (hide, wood) into a handcrafted 15" elk skin ceremonial drum. The elk hides are obtained from the tribe, who responsibly gather them under their ancestral hunting rights. The experience will take place on Sunday July 28, in the back parking lot of The Healing Shoppe, with canopies erected for shade..
Because all the materials for the precise number of drums being made need to be sourced from the tribe in advance of the event, the deadline to register is July 12, 2024.
All proceeds from the registration fee go to the cost of materials and to Krishna's non-profit, "Relationships With Purpose," a 501(c)(3) multiservice organization promoting a sense of purpose, opportunities to become self-sufficient, and wellness through supportive resources for unhoused individuals and those at risk.
