Description
Join Yoga instructor Liza, and farm founder Sophia for a day-long retreat centered around the expansive energy of Spring. Enjoy the farm at the very start of lavender season as it ushers in a very special, sparkling energy that enhances the practice of yoga and meditation in an inspiring atmosphere. Become more aware of your own energetic field, by experiencing yoga, meditation, art and the healing energy of lavender!
The day will commence with a welcome message from the farm’s founders introducing their work, in tune with the land to foster a creative and healing environment.
Spend the day moving among secluded areas of the farm, beginning with a clarifying Restorative Yoga and Meditation practice in the Bamboo Forest. Then we go into the sunny lavender field to allow the mind to flow freely during a Drawing in the Moment art activity. Finally, learn how to pull the healing energy of the lavender plants into and through your body during grounding exercises.
We will break for a locally sourced picnic lunch.
In the afternoon we will delve into growing herbs for mindful self-care, bringing nature into your daily practice. Then into the forest for a quiet walk and stimulating breathwork session. We will close with a fire ceremony and lavender tea.
What to bring;
A yoga mat and a blanket to picnic or roll to sit on during meditation. Comfortable walking shoes that can be easily removed, a refillable water bottle, a notebook with pages that can be removed and a pen. You may want a hat and sun protection and sunglasses.
