2DB is the song writing team of two old pals that met when they were teens in Detroit, Michigan, and have been songwriting for over 30 years. Our songs were featured in the 2014 "Four Block Empire" album "Time & Miles", and in the material of "Reggie Smith & The After Party", both Detroit based bands. Our original material really took during many late night shelter in place sessions between 2020-2022, they are working on a full album release of this original Rock material. In the meantime, Nicholas plays shows in the Pacific Northwest as a 3, 4, or 5 piece band (depending on the gig) performing Classic & Modern Rock/Blues Covers and songs from the vast Allen/Klaver songbook. Influences range from The Beatles, Dylan, Wilco, Death Cab For Cutie, Neil Young, Flaming Lips, and all things Jam band. Aaron is in great demand as a lyricist, as his lyrics have been featured in the music of Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, Joshua Davis, and so many more!
