Description

Join us in celebration as Brock University Library officially launches the Entiohahathe'te Knowledge Den, our newly named Indigenous reading collection.

This space is in the Matheson Learning Commons in the Brock University Library, near the Thistle corridor Library entrance.

Drummer and storyteller Nicole Joy-Fraser will join us in song and story. Refreshments will be provided.

All are welcome, and this event is family friendly.

Our Den is named after Brock’s Spirit Bear, Entiohahathe'te ("a bright path" in Mohawk/Kanien'keha). Entiohahathe'te is part of the Reconciliation Ambearrister program, which advocates for implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action, and for the well-being of Indigenous children, youth and families.

Note: Brock University staff, students, faculty, and librarians should register on ExperienceBU. https://experiencebu.brocku.ca/event/269567
