Thetford Academy is honored to host one of the regional competitions for this year's One-Act Festival. The schools participating are:

  • Thetford Academy. Presenting A Wind in the Door.
  • Leland & Grey Union High School. Presenting The Emperor's New Clothes.
  • Rutland High School. Presenting It's What I Heard.
  • Windsor High School. Presenting The Audition.
  • North Country Union High School. Presenting Cry of the Peacock.

Purchasing a ticket grants you general admission entry to Thetford Academy's campus and theater facilities. One ticket covers all shows presented at the festival. You do not have to purchase a ticket if you are participating in the competition as a student, teacher, or other official. You will need a ticket if you are not directly affiliated with the competition, including parents, friends, and the general public.

Thetford Academy, founded in 1819, is Vermont’s oldest secondary school and has been an important part of the Upper Valley’s educational community for over two centuries.

The school’s arts department provides a welcoming space for students to explore and develop their creativity. Whether through theater productions, visual arts, or music, students have the opportunity to hone their skills and share their work with the community in an inclusive and supportive environment.

As always, Thetford Academy's performance space includes free parking, elevators, and accessible seating. Some performances may have concessions hosted by students to fundraise for their class.
