Out of the Synagogue and Into the World: Bringing the Teachings of the High Holy Days to Life
Wednesday Sept. 11, 18, and 25 from 7-9pm at Resnick

Led by Rabbi Hannah Elkin, this three-session course will help us explore the texts, traditions, and spiritual practices leading up to the Days of Awe. Each week, we will study Jewish sources and traditions, and then explore their meaning in our lives through stories, film, literature, and other creative outlets.

Session 1: This One Thing I Ask: Elul, Psalm 27, and Ethical Wills
Session 2: Breaking Out of the Cycle in Film
Session 3: The Hero’s Journey: The Path of Teshuvah and Stories of Return
