The MCA season concludes with Iranian clarinetist Paniz Shafaei, who will be joined by her husband, Italian pianist Giuliano Graniti. Each brings a wealth of international experience as performers and scholars. Between the two of them they have prestigious music degrees from conservatories in Iran, Italy, Switzerland and the United States. Dr. Graniti earned his DMA from the Cincinnati Conservatory and Dr. Shafaei is completing post-doctoral work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This concert will feature some of the most beloved works for clarinet and piano.
