Blue Oak’s South Carolina Pawpaw festival honors America’s largest native fruit during its peak harvest season for Upstate SC.
All attendees can taste this delicious fruit at our tasting station, and our nursery will be open for sales, including a limited selection of grafted pawpaw trees. The schedule for the day will include a medicinal plant walk with herbalist June Ellen Bradley, and the Native Plant Society will be onsite to anwser your plant questions.
We’re also excited to partner with several talented folk from our local community. The Welldrinkers will bring live music. Carolina Baeurnhous will be brewing up a special pawpaw beer. We’ll have food and beverage vendors, and local artisans will be onsite for sales, including Pawpaw festival artist Matt Andrews!
