Description

Administering immediate CPR or first aid can make the difference between life and death in the event of sudden illness or injury.

Join our synagogue and ECC parent community to learn life-saving adult and pediatric CPR and first aid skills! By investing $40 ($60 for non-members) and a single Thursday evening, you'll be ready to act in an emergency — and render aid when someone close to you needs help.

There are no upper or lower age limits on who can take this certification course; teens are welcome to join!

This standard pediatric CPR/first aid course trains and certifies in:

  • victim assessment and universal precautions
  • stopping bleeding and treating shock
  • care for choking victims
  • first aid for seizures/convulsions
  • first aid for muscular-skeletal injuries, head/neck injuries and nasal occlusions
  • treating bites/stings
  • treating thermal and chemical burns
  • administering allergy (EPI-pen) and asthma medication
  • and more!
