We are very excited to have guest Tasmanian natural perfumer, Hilary from Liminus Perfume, joining us for a special and luxury Mother's Day Workshop filled with gorgeous scent and beautiful dried flowers.
Crafting natural scents and perfumes from botanicals is a complex and fascinating process....so we are delighted to offer a workshop where participants will learn and experience this first hand. Use of natural perfume, such as the Liminus award winning range, is on the rise in modern times as we understand more about the importance of avoiding synthetic fragrances to prevent issues like allergies and hormone disruption. Here at Earthenry we grow many scented florals and botanicals so we are delighted to partner with Liminus to bring you the perfect marriage of our combined skills and passion!
This workshop is limited to 20 places and will run in two parts:
Part 1 ~ Perfume
After a short discussion on perfume making and exploring individual scent materials, each participant will be guided through the process of formulating an oil based perfume incorporating of Earthenry grown botanicals. In the final stage, participants will have the opportunity to customise their scent with a component of their choice. Your beautiful and unique scent will then be bottled and labelled in a Liminus 9ml glass rollerball to take home.
Part 2 ~ Wreath
Using organically grown and naturally dried florals harvested from our farm, each participant will be expertly guided to make a beautiful small dried flower wreath on a base of hop vines! As a final touch you will be able to choose from 3 Liminus scents to infuse your wreath florals with fragrance.
Refreshments along with all tools and materials are included.
