Join us for another film and music salon on the magical rooftop of Petit Ermitage Hotel. These evenings are a beautiful community event and ongoing collaboration between Petit Ermitage, Cheshire Moon Productions, and Blkbrd Films. Doors will open at 7:00pm where you can settle into the evening atmosphere. Grab a drink and some food and listen to live music by GUSTAF before moving to the firedeck for the screening.
Tonight's Petit Salon will feature a screening of the feature film CADEJO BLANCO. In this crime thriller, a working-class girl from Guatemala City travels to a small coastal town to infiltrate a gang in order to find her missing sister. CADEJO BLANCO was nominated for many awards including the John Cassavetes Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. Director/writer/producer Justin Lerner started a film school in Guatemala, and with one of his students, produced this film while living there. After the film, we will be discussing the incredible story behind making it, as well as Justin's journey of producing truly independent films with piercing authenticity.
