Philly Sketchfest was created in 2008 to celebrate sketch comedy in the City of Brotherly Love. Over the years, Philly Sketchfest has brought some of the best sketch comedians to Philadelphia. In addition to live shows, Philly Sketchfest also produces a podcast, My First Sketch, hosted by Josh Higham, available wherever you get your podcasts.
Description
Philly Sketchfest presents Mean Sparkle and Chaps (from Washington DC)!
Mean Sparkle is the brainchild of Philly Sketchfest producer, Josh Higham, who has been writing sketch comedy for almost 15 years. Calling in favors from some friends to perform with him, Mean Sparkle is a collection of sketches that have been tinkered with and edited over and over again for far too long.
Chaps is Washington DC’s first all-women & non-binary sketch comedy super group made up of experienced jokesters from some of DC’s top sketch comedy teams. With their vaudeville-inspired mustaches and suspenders, Chaps transcends wife/girlfriend/sexy lamp tropes in favor of ostriches, bloodthirsty veterinarians, and fish-slapping capitalists
$15 (plus fees).
