Description
The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society will be hosting a Photo Review night where we invite our neighbors to view a selection of recently acquired photographs and help us identify any buildings or individuals featured in the photos. This newest collection comes to us from the esteemed Judge Jim Horn whose father was an avid photographer and record keeper. From as early as the 1890s all the way to the 1980s, the photos tell many stories about Rehoboth including new construction, fire and storm devastation, shipwrecks, and more.
We will host a panel of experts on Rehoboth Beach History including Judge Horn, Paul Lovett, Cory Rose, and more. We invite any and all members of the Rehoboth Beach public to join us on Thursday, May 8th from 5pm to 7pm. We will also be streaming the event on Zoom so that our attendees can join in from home! Light refreshments will be offered at the museum.
Admission for the event is $10 and free for Historic Society members. The museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue. Museum hours starting March 1st are Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is by donation. Members enjoy special benefits.
